2. Principles regarding the collection and storage of your data
In this privacy policy, I explain the processes through which data is collected and stored and for what purpose this happens. If your questions are not fully answered, feel free to contact me using the email above.
a. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
I process data for the purpose of the smooth use of the website and for processing inquiries. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
b. Deletion of data when it's not needed any more
Generally speaking, the principles of data minimization and limited storage apply. I only store personal data as long as it is necessary to achieve the purposes described for the individual measures. After the purpose ceases, the data is deleted.
c. Right to information, data transfer and deletion
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data that's being stored at any time. If the data stored by me is incorrect, you have the right to correction. Furthermore, you can request a transfer of your stored data to you or a third party named by you in a common file format.
You can request the deletion of your personal data at any time, provided it is no longer needed.

d. Encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, the website uses state-of-the-art SSL encryption over HTTPS.
e. Changes to the privacy policy
I will keep adjusting the privacy policy to meet current legal requirements. When you visit the website again, the new privacy policy will apply.
Data collection and processing on the website
When you visit the website, the following also applies:
1. Collection, processing and use of your IP address
a. Collection of traffic data
You can visit the site without actively providing personal information. Only the access data transmitted to the site by your web browser is collected. It includes:
- Browser type/version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL (the previously visited website)
- Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)
- Time of the server request
- Duration of stay and selected subpages
This data is collected exclusively for technical reasons and stored for the duration of your visit to our website. It does not enable me to draw any conclusions about you. However, your provider could identify your internet connection based on the IP address stored here.
b. Data deletion
Data is only stored for the duration of your visit to the website. It is automatically deleted as soon as your browser has closed our website.
2. Inquiries via Email
If you contact me via email, your information is collected and stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and any follow-up questions.
3. Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, the data you provided at registration is collected and stored. As a registered newsletter subscriber, you will receive my newsletter and possibly related information (e.g. about changes to the newsletter offer or the technical requirements for receiving the newsletter). Newsletter registration is done using the so-called "double-opt-in" procedure. This means that after your registration, you receive an email with a confirmation link. The registration is only completed when you have clicked this link.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter contains a link with the option to unsubscribe.
I use MailerLite for sending out the newsletter. By submitting the form, you agree that your data will be transferred to MailerLite. Learn more about MailerLite's privacy policy.
4. Use of YouTube, transfer of data to the USA
The website uses services from the video provider YouTube. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you access the videos posted on YouTube via the button provided on our website, a connection to the YouTube servers in the USA is established. This informs the YouTube server which of my pages you have visited. This data could then be evaluated to create a profile.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

5. Use of Plausible Analytics
The website uses Plausible Analytics. The service is used to analyze visitor trends and understand the effectiveness of marketing measures. I have chosen to use Plausible Analytics because it is a privacy-oriented platform that avoids personally identifiable information in favor of anonymous, aggregated data.
